On Sunday July 4th, we had a RESDA trial at the beautiful Marin Fairgrounds in San Rafael. This is one of my favorite fairs (second only to Sonoma County Fair) as we are treated so nicely by the fair management, and the folks who attend are so enthusiastic about our trial. The Marin Fair attracts a good-sized group of interested spectators who ask a lot of questions and seem to really enjoy themselves while watching the trial. Coal placed 9th on what was a hot day for Marin County, so I was really pleased. He drew a nice group of three sheep who wanted to work well together.
